Reflect Rift's Morality Test
A downloadable game for Windows
Note: The description below is intended for entertainment purposes only.
I like exploring through some old websites and archives from the internet, there's just so much to explore and put up to light.
But one thing that I ended up coming across was a website called "Reflect Rift Studio". The website wasn't anything special at first, it was a project of some sorts dedicated to help teen students to understand themselves, and what should they seek for in the future. The website itself seemed incomplete when I first discovered it, but as I looked deeper into it, I found another website, which seemed like a backdoor of some sorts to the whole project. From what I can tell, it seems like this was some sort of university final project of some sorts.
Looking up deeply into this, I managed to find a manual of cronogram of all things they would do, alongside an Unity project attached to it, followed with an unused description of it.
"Try our morality test that not only will put you through ethical siutations, but will also make you reflect about your own thoughts and believes.
Encounter situations inspired by real-life everyday challenges and eceive feedback from professional experts on the area, helping you understand the underlying ethical principles and how they align with your moral beliefs. Question your believes and explore the gray areas of morality with other students through our website!"
They then shared their website, which I will also let it available here:

So I downloaded this test, but when I got to play it for myself, it was barely functional and would not open at all on my computer. I would later on discover that not only some important files were somehow...missing, but the version used was outdated by 5 years, I guess whoever made this game really liked the old version of Unity.
But regardless, my curiosity was at it's peak, and I knew I would need to do some work on my own to restore this, thankfully I had the right tools to be able to open it corrently on Unity itself, and after months of work, I was able to make this project work out as intended, I didn't dare change anything present of the game on my own because I wanted to experience what was inside the game.
But when I finally got it working, I noticed some strange things on my own. For a test for teenagers, it seems a bit strange for what it is, some questions involve some deep serious thinking, and a few times I could hear noises around the class, for some reasons. Assuming this is just an alpha test or something, I imagine the devs were just playing around for the most part, the whole website seems to be incomplete for the most part anyway so, I can only assume these are just placeholder events, what would they serve in the test itself? No idea.
I'll leave this project to anyone curious enough to investigate this further.. if anyone from Reflect Rift Studio is seeing this and want their game out of my library, feel free to contact me, I'm sure we can talk this out.
Good luck
Small update: I went back to the websites to look things up again, and I noticed that a few pages from the backdoor, including the link of the unity project and everything else went missing. I'm not sure why, but I believe there's one member of the project still messing around with it. I'll try contacting them on my own to see if they have something to share about this project, if anything else come to light, I'll make sure to make a separate note on the matter;

I got my hands on the game before it was free lol. I liked it for the most part. It's creepy and entertaining, some of the questions made me think. I'd change a thing or two but still a very cool little horror game !
